Women are informed about maintaining and growing the business
Proper and effective exposure of products at networking events and fairs is among the key factors for a business to reach the pinnacle of success. Decent appearance, attractive and persuasive communication with customers, the opportunity for networking, identifying customers, collecting direct comments and suggestions from them, visual aspect and materials are among the main issues that affect the growth of a business.
This was said today in the training held within the project “Supporting women in business development”. The main focus of this training was advice offered to women on how to advance sales of their products, how to identify and connect with desired customers, as well as learn the importance of fairs for their businesses.
In the framework of this project, which is implemented by the non-governmental organization “Center for Innovations and Development” and financed by the Slovak Agency for Development and International Cooperation “SlovakAid”, many women received different instructions in order to attract as many as possible customers for their products.
The trainer of this project, Linda Baleta, considered the first impression of a product for customers to be very important, for which she said that the presentation, organization, exposure, communication and everything else must be at the level, so as to reach success.
“Presenting yourself properly and effectively at networking events and trade fairs is essential to growing your businesses. For example, you present your products in stands or different spaces and if you design this space with a beautiful and clean concept, you make the communication more attractive and convincing and thus you will stand out from the competition and have an impact on customers. Fairs offer networking opportunities, as you communicate with other exhibitors, industry experts and create valuable connections that can lead to various collaborations. It also pays to actively seek out opportunities to show your products, increasing your brand’s reputation. It is also important to identify the customers who are most likely to be interested in your products”, said Baleta.
Baleta believes that collecting direct comments and suggestions from customers, the visual aspect, including photographs, designs, labels and the way products are placed at fairs, are among the main points that influence the successful presentation of various items to consumers.
She also added that in today’s world, first impressions of items are very important, including color, images, position, for which she emphasized that there are some elements that not only represent your business, but distinguish it from others.
“Getting direct comments and suggestions from customers or consumers, the visual aspect, including photographs, designs, labels and the way products are placed at fairs are among the main points that influence the successful presentation of various items. Also, factors that help you attract customers include product features, what features your product has that sets it apart from others, quality, pricing, how you provide service, or even innovation. In today’s world first impressions matter more than ever: color, images, position, are some elements that not only represent your business, but distinguish it from others. Also, you should include interactive elements, hands-on activities to engage visitors and encourage them to buy your products. Promotional materials are essential, why not bring a tablet or laptop where you can display photos of your products, as this helps to attract customers”, said Baleta.
The training cycle will continue with women in the business field from all over Kosovo, in which there will be even more detailed information and advice regarding how to do business as well as possible.
